I meditate every morning by sitting on a chair, straight back, at the edge of the chair with only my buttocks touching the chair.
Than I breathe calmed for about 15 minutes trying to focus on the present moment and just ignoring any other thoughts that may come to “hijack” my moment of peace.
One curious things that may happened when these thoughts pop up is that your body start to collapse…your back starts to bend, your shoulders slowly slouch and then you are already thinking on how many tasks you have for the day.
It is in those moments when I command to myself: “do not collapse!”. I get back to the right position, my breathing calms down and my thoughts come back to the present moment.
I now apply this to my daily life. “Do not collapse “ and I get the right posture. Everything seems to work better.
